On the day of your move.
Parking: Ensure with neighbours (and local police if parking restrictions apply) that there will be room to park. We will need approximately 50 feet to park, so reserve places if at all possible
Unloading Please advise us if there are likely to be any problems with access at
your new property.
Instructions When the crew arrives show them everything that is to be moved (and
not moved) including the contents of the garage and garden.
Tea Moving furniture is hard and thirsty work so the regular supply of tea
or coffee (no alcohol) is greatly appreciated.
Directions Good directions to your new property will save a lot of time. Try to
include local landmarks. A small map may help
Final Loading Before the van leaves have a thorough check round for the for anything that may have been missed. Don't forget to take the kettle, it will be needed at the other end.
Unloading Identify each room to the crew and tell them where to position each
item of furniture. Be on hand to advise them through out the unloading process
Keys Remember to keep all keys safely with you so that they are not accidentally packed
Documents Keep all documents regarding your removal safely with you in case
there are any unforeseen problems on the day.
